In the study of the genetics of corn (Zea mays), a unit in a coordinate system for cytogenetic maps. From a chromosome's centromere to each of its tips is taken as divided into 100 centiMcClintocks. (Thus the entire chromosome is 200 centiMcClintocks long.) Symbol, cMC.

The unit is named for Barbara McClintock (1902 – 1992), winner of a Nobel Prize in 1983.
