In the Mexican states of Chiapas and Oaxaca, ? – 20th century, Mexico, a unit of mass used for sugar, varying with locality. In Chiapas it varied from 4 kilograms, or 4 panela, loaves of brown sugar, to as much as 20 kg in the municipality of Pinola. In Oaxaca, generally 8 kg.
