robin

In India, ? – 19th century,

Robin, or Robbin, (?) A term used in Malabar for a measure of grain : according to Mr. Graeme, it is the same as the Morah : a different, but anonymous authority makes it a fourth of a Khandi, or Candy; in that case it may be a barbarism for the Arabic Rabâ, or Arbâ, four, a fourth.
